Dear Class of 2029, Transfer, 3-2 and Exchange Students,

We are delighted that you will be joining us in Fall 2025, and look forward to meeting you as you embark on this exciting chapter of your academic and personal growth. Our orientation program is designed to provide you with the essential tools, resources, and support to thrive.

Throughout orientation, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow students, faculty members, and staff who are dedicated to your success. From navigating campus resources to discovering extracurricular opportunities, our goal is to ensure that you feel empowered to make the most of your time at Caltech.

Sunday, September 21 | Move-In Day

For students moving into Caltech Housing on Sunday, September 21, check-in hours begin 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (PDT). We ask that students and families plan their travel to campus accordingly. Fall Athletes and International students will move-in to campus early, please refer to communication from the Athletic Department and International Student Programs for more information. Orientation programs for new students begin after 2pm that same day.

Sunday, September 21 - Friday, September 26 | New Student Orientation Programming

During orientation week, incoming students are fully immersed in the Caltech community and learn important information about resources and support systems that assist students in navigating the academic and co-curricular experience. Orientation programming helps new students foster a sense of belonging, connect with peers, and familiarize with student services.

First-year, transfer, 3/2 and exchange students are required to attend orientation programming.
